Design Notes: I believe that there is an inherent magic in queerness and a life that needed to be forged outside of societal norms in order to survive. There is a power in pushing back against these conventions—spiritually and through force of will—specifically the toxic side of masculinity, especially as it is at fault for the oppression of queerness. A few representations of queer magic are present here in the moon, Sailor Jupitor, astrological icons, as well as a choice quote pulled from my research of this design, tying everything together. Pulled from the pages of Marvel comics, the quote is from the Scarlet Witch to her canonically queer son Wiccan AKA William Kaplan.
