Design Notes: Wanted to develop a disco inspired version of our An Ethical Male Studio logo. A glittery image of Cher from the ‘70s is included here as one of the sources of inspo, as well as a quote of her’s from 1996 that challenges the conceptions of gender. Alok’s quote also returns in this design—both of which I believe are in conversation with each other, re-contextualizing the gender binary.
